Terms of Use

Last updated: October 2026.

These terms apply to Starlite TV at starlitetv.com and the Starlite TV Roku app (together, "the service"). By using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

The service

Starlite TV is a free, ad-supported service that streams classic films, cartoons and other programs on scheduled channels and, for some titles, on demand. No account, subscription or payment is required to watch. We may add, change, move or remove channels, programs, schedules and features at any time, and the service may sometimes be unavailable.

Content

Programs are selected because we believe they are in the U.S. public domain or available under an open license. Rights can differ outside the United States, and you are responsible for following the laws where you watch. Program descriptions, artwork, schedules, logos and the design of the service belong to Starlite TV or their respective owners and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Some videos are delivered by third parties such as the Internet Archive.

If you believe something on Starlite TV infringes your rights, see our Content & Rights page and contact us with the title, the reason and your contact details. We review every notice and remove material when appropriate.

Acceptable use

You agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the service; scrape, bulk-download or re-stream the service or its feeds in a way that imitates Starlite TV; inflate or manipulate views, ad impressions or clicks; or use the service for anything unlawful. Public feeds we publish for program guides may be used as described on their own pages.

Advertising and tips

The service shows ads, including ads from third-party networks and, in the Roku app, ads delivered through the Roku Advertising Framework. We aren't responsible for advertisers' products or websites. Tips are optional and voluntary, are processed by PayPal or Ko-fi under their terms, and do not buy any extra features or content. Watching is always free.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what limited, anonymous data we collect and how third parties are involved.

Roku

If you use the Roku app, Roku's own terms also apply to your device and the Roku platform. Roku is not responsible for the Starlite TV app or its content.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Many programs are decades old and may contain content, language or attitudes that viewers today find offensive or unsuitable for children; viewer discretion is advised.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Starlite TV and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to US $10.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, USA, except where local consumer law gives you rights that can't be waived.
